Here’s a rare treasure! This Staffordshire Slip Ware pottery shard is estimated to be between 200-300 years old. This piece was found along the Thames Estuary in England, and is in wonderful condition for it’s age. An intact slipware vessel in decent shape is worth hundreds, if not thousands of dollars today. Lots more info on it’s history can be found in a Google search if interested.
I’ve wrapped this shard “bezel style” with 18 gauge antique bronze and gold colored wire.
Pendant measures 2.5” from the top off it’s bail to the bottom, and comes presented on an 18” antique bronze mesh style chain with an additional 2” extension if more length is needed.
