Gorgeous, statement making rare Neodymium sea glass piece from Russia is wrapped with thick, 16 gauge, silver-over-copper wire treated to be tarnish resistant. It measures 2.5” from the top of it’s bail to the bottom and is 1.75” in width. See last photo for it’s color change in fluorescent lighting!
Not into neck wires? No problem! It can be swapped out for an 18” silver plated, 3mm thick snake chain instead. Please make note of the swap during check out (or send a private message ...or both) and it shall be done.
Alexandrite glass, or Neodymium, has special chemical qualities that enable it to change colors depending on the lighting source it's viewed in. In natural outdoor lighting, it turns lavender/purple, while under fluorescent lighting it immediately turns a slate blue, sometimes grayish shade. It's EXTREMELY rare (especially one this large) and mostly found in sea glass form on a specific beach in Russia.
