I reciently obtained some stunning shards of china and pottery pieces, with this piece being one of them. I’ve quoted the seller’s information on the history of these pieces below.
“These beautiful pieces of china were rescued from a landfill in New York which began before the turn of the 20th century. Many of the pieces are in perfect shape, others have small chips and signs of wear from being out in the weather. I've had them for years just sitting in a drawer, it's time someone talented made use of them.”
The piece is wrapped “bezel style” with 18 gauge, silver-over-copper wire treated to be tarnish resistant.
Pendant comes displayed on an 18” antique silver plated chain.
Pendant measures 2.5“ from the top of it’s bail to the bottom and is 1.25“ at it’s widest point.
